JOB DESCRIPTION: To provide efficient warehousing services, which includes maintenance of legible and accurate records and documents.
QUALIFICATIONS: High school diploma or equivalent. Ability to lift a minimum of 75 pounds. Ability to keep accurate records. Good physical condition. Must possess and maintain a good driving record. Must be able to provide a current Motor Vehicle Record.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Receive and process orders for furniture, equipment, supplies, and materials.
- Verify that items are received in good order along with necessary documentation.
- Coordinate documentation activities with the warehouse manager for bookkeeping, payment, and inventory purposes.
- Assume the warehouse manager’s responsibilities in his/her absence.
- Place inventory tags on equipment according to State Laws and Regulations.
- Maintain storage and receiving areas in a safe, orderly manner.
- Pick up and deliver mail, audio-visual items, printing materials, curriculum materials, and other District materials to schools and the District office as required.
- Perform special cleaning and preventive maintenance as required.
- Perform other duties as required.
SALARY: Twelve-month position, beginning salary Level 29, employee benefits in accordance with Board Policies.
EVALUATION: Performance to be evaluated in accordance with Board Policy on the evaluation of support personnel.
