JOB DESCRIPTION:  To assist in maintaining school buses and other District vehicles. 

 

QUALIFICATIONS:  High school diploma or equivalent.  Knowledge of basic mechanics.  Ability to lift and bend to repair and service a variety of vehicles and equipment.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform routine servicing of buses, check fluid levels, tires, and belts.

• Perform maintenance and repairs on district vehicles.

• Assist with major repairs (brakes, engine, and suspension).

• Coordinate seat repair and replacement with drivers and supervisors.

• Perform all other duties as assigned. 

 

SALARY:  Twelve-month position, beginning salary Level 33, employee benefits in accordance with Board Policies.

 

EVALUATION:  Performance to be evaluated in accordance with Board Policy on the evaluation of support personnel.
