JOB DESCRIPTION: To provide typing and general clerical services.
QUALIFICATIONS: High school diploma or equivalent. Some knowledge of office terminology, procedures, and equipment. Typing skill at 50 wpm preferred (test required). Ability to write legibly, follow oral and written directions, and work with a variety of people.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Serve as public relations liaison in answering telephones, taking messages, returning phone calls, and receiving visitors.
- Provide a positive district image for all visitors and personnel who desire information and/or services.
- Operate standard office machines.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
SALARY: Nine, ten, or twelve-month position; beginning salary Level 29, employee benefits in accordance with Board policies.
EVALUATION: Performance to be evaluated in accordance with Board Policy on the evaluation of support personnel.
